LAM SZE MO’s guilt at a glance

(1) Workload is unevenly distributed: when senior teachers take time to have their coffee, teaching assistances (TAs) are always busy. On Saturday and Sundays, they even have to look after students for extra-curricular actives. They have to work 7 days a week, and without any compensation leave or over-time allowance, of course. This is violating Hong Kong labour regulations.

(2) SSP Primary School had purchased full-site license for Macromedia Dreamweaver MX. One time, LAM's daughter needed Microsoft Frontpage 2002 for her homework. LAM used school’s subsidy to purchase commercial edition, just because the software store do not have education edition (half of the price) in stock.

(3) Once, LAM asked all school staff (teachers, TAs, clerks and workers) to pay for printing school magazine, claiming that the school does not have sufficient fund to do so. After that, the use of fund was ever reported. Do you know HKD$50 is enough for a worker one day's life?

(4) LAM bought a Compact Flash card which worth HKD$185 at chain store for his personal need, of course, using school's fund. BTW it would be 1/5 cheaper if it was brought from computer shopping arcade.

(5) Under LAM's mismanagement, a primary one student accidentally hurt her head during dismiss at the end of school classes. (Reason: The original form teacher put her colleague up to do the job for her, the naughty students gone out of control) Her parent complained to LAM and got ignored. Finally she decided to sue LAM on the court, however LAM never appeared but his senior teachers.
